Terms of Service

Last updated 4 August 2026. These terms cover your use of Idle Echoes.

The short version

  • You need to be 13 or older, and it is one account per person.
  • Play fair. No bots, no cheats, and nothing hateful or abusive aimed at other players.
  • Gear, gold and levels are part of the game, not property. Balancing the game can change or remove them.
  • The game is unfinished, so it will change and it will sometimes break.
  • You can delete your account whenever you like, and you have 30 days to change your mind.
  • We can close an account that breaks the rules.

Written to be readable, so it leaves things out. The numbered sections below are the ones that count.

01Who we are

Idle Echoes is made and run by two brothers in Sweden, independently and in our spare time. Email hello@idle-echoes.com and you reach us, not a support desk.

02Your account

Creating an account means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to hold one.

One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself, and do not share, sell or transfer it. What happens on your account is your responsibility.

03The game is in development

Features, balance and virtual items change, and parts of the game may be unavailable while we work on them. We may reset or adjust progress that a bug or an exploit has distorted.

04How to behave

You are responsible for what you write and for the names you choose. Playing here means not doing any of the following:

  • Cheating: automating play, modifying the client, exploiting bugs, or interfering with the game servers.
  • Harassing, threatening or abusing other players, in chat or through player and character names.
  • Posting anything hateful, sexually explicit, graphically violent or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonating another player, or us.
  • Buying, selling or trading accounts or in-game items for real money outside the game.
  • Anything unlawful.

05Virtual items and progress

Gear, gold, levels and everything else in the game are part of the game, not property. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and we may change or remove them.

06Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from the game's settings. It stops working straight away and is deleted for good 30 days later. Signing in during those 30 days cancels the deletion and gives you your character back; after that we cannot restore it.

We may remove content or names that break these terms, and suspend or close accounts that keep breaking them.

07What we do not promise

The game is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of bugs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, lost virtual items, or indirect losses arising from playing.

Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

08Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the game before it takes effect, and continuing to play after that means accepting the new version.
